yes I am sure in many cases increases in data can help us evaluate problems with more accuracy but data can be biased it can be problematic and give us a false sense of security that we truly understand a subject ESPECIALLY when its about humans. If we were to open up the floodgates of mass data and incorporate it in this "dataism" scale then I believe it would have to come hand in hand with a greater emphasis of people to people relationships. Basically what I am saying is that if i were to look at a community that i know nothing about and parse out my understanding of them purely through data, you bet i will not truly understand them the same way as if i had spent my actual time living with them and interacting with them, having the community teach me about themselves.
